Top Reasons I’m a Voice for the Plant – #9: Healthier Skin & Hair

One of the less well-known reasons I’m a voice for the plant has to do with it’s versatility in creating healthy, natural everyday things that help me to look & feel my best. In our #Hempworx line, I LOVE the shampoo & conditioner & have been amazed by what the hair mask & glow serum can do.

Let’s be honest. There are a ton of hair products out there, but very few people are taking a minute to look into the chemicals present in those bottles. Saying goodbye to bad hair days, to dry, damaged looks, to tangles, snags, & split ends shouldn’t have to mean compromising your health.

Not only does this cold-pressed hemp-based stuff provide hydration and nourishment to your strands, but it also strengthens and promotes healthy hair growth – something my hairdresser noticed soon after I started using it! Even my mom & dad use it, which makes my heart happy. It’s a safe, easy, #healthyswap that makes a huge difference.

In addition, consistent use of a high-quality CBD can have dramatically positive impacts on the skin! As someone who used to battle terrible hormonal acne, I can’t begin to explain what all this has done for me. But don’t just take my word for it. According to a recently updated article by Emily Delzell of the National Eczema Association, “The body makes its own cannabinoids that activate the system, and CBD and other plant-based cannabinoids also stimulate its healing effects. “Specifically, CBD has anti-inflammatory, anti-itch and anti-pain properties that make it extremely attractive as a medicinal compound, particularly in dermatology,” said Lio,” a clinical assistant professor of dermatology and pediatrics at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine and the founding director of the Chicago Integrative Eczema Center.

The reality is that this plant is simply incredible and is good for so many different things. What it comes down to is ensuring that you have clean, minimized ingredients that are giving you the very best of the plant and the very least of anything else.
