The last steps are often the ones most celebrated – those that close a chapter, complete a vision, and lock in an accomplishment.
And while those moments deserve the clink of glasses & the flight of confetti, I wonder…
Are we missing moments where that celebration could be less of an ending & more of a momentum maker?
Many of us take small, hesitant first steps – toward health goals + changes in careers, toward starting businesses or starting families, toward better mindsets + clearer dreams – toward something better. But what if we celebrated those moments too?
What if we celebrated the decision, the commitment to begin moving, & the first courageous moment of forward progress?
What if we celebrated the milestones? Sticking to our plans? The midpoints, stumbling blocks overcome, & small steps all along the journey?
I wonder if we’d finish more of what we start. I wonder if we’d feel a greater sense of community. I wonder if we’d stop looking for light at the end of the tunnel & start enjoying the light that is here & present today – at whatever stage of the journey we’re in.
I wonder, if you were to celebrate this moment in your journey, what would you celebrate?
Let me know ⬇️ & then do something, just for you, to celebrate it. Big or small is irrelevant. 😎 Just do it & enjoy.
I’m cheering for you. ❤️
